 History, tradition and treasure abound in El Dorado.El Dorado is the name of the California County in which gold was first discovered in 1849. Today, another treasure can be found—El Dorado P.R.E. El Dorado P.R.E. is located in the historic town of Camino, in the beautiful Northern California Nevada foothills. The farm and breeding facility is dedicated to preserving the P.R.E. in the United States. While El Dorado P.R.E. was established in 2000, its breeding practices have a much longer history, dating back to 16th century Spain, when standards for the P.R.E. were orginally established. Today, as in the past, the P.R.E. is known for its beauty, nobility, character, athleticism, versatility. The P.R.E. is a perfect match for an amateur or a professional rider, as the breed is known for being easy to ride and highly trainable. El Dorado P.R.E., through its careful and selective breeding program, has preserved all of the characteristics for which the PRE is renowned. |
